This doll is part of my personal collection.
The only touch up is to her lips.
As you can see in the before photo, she had all of her lips, they were just faded. I color washed them VERY little. Other than that, all paint work is original. I retied her pony tail, but did not wash her hair to do so. Also, I did not reset her hard curl because she has a LOT of her curl left in it.
I am in the midst of treating her legs for mold spots. So far so good! I'll post pics when I am done.

This Francie was given to me by my dear friend April. Poor Francie must have been Miss Popular because she was worn out!
I re-colored her face back to a sweet peachy pink skin tone. I touched up her lips, gave her brows and soem blush. I also had to touch up her shadow and black lashes. I then reset her hair.
I also restored her dress. It now has a replacement bow. The bodice was separated entirely from the skirt and it was filthy. I wish I had taken before pictures of just this dress alone! It was indeed a HOT MESS!
Thank you Anita M. for gifting me with the cape to it! I owe you one, friend! ;)

Poor dear, she had a trim to the sides of her hair, no brows and needed new lips.
I have also repaired her neck split since these photographs were posted.

Some kind of a wig had been glued to her head as you can see the glue residue on it still. I repainted, re-flocked and reset her hair. She is a full reroot.

A very light lemon blonde #6. She received a partial reroot. One that went from the left side of her bangs, under her head, back up to the right side of her bangs. I left the top hair and bangs in tact. She has new lips, brows, lashes, eye liner and blush.

BEFORE            AFTER
New lips, lashes and blush. Hair washed and reset.

A dark black / brown #4 with nice long hair. Although it was a bit thin, it still was salvageable and nothing needed to be added. When I removed the previous attempt at restoration, I discovered this gal had none of her original eye brows. She cleaned up well, don'tcha think?

Poor Francie. I had to add some coloring to her face as she was very pale. She had nice hair and although it looked thin, it really was not that bad. I repainted her face and reset her hair, adding a new hair string using the holes that the original one had been sewn in.

Poor dear needed a bath... BAD!! She now has a few new lashes, new blush and is a full reroot. Her biggest issue aside from her hair was that she was just dirty.

Some just transform themselves more so than others! This one cried to be high color.
New eye shadow, lashes, lips, brows and blush.

This doll had faded eyes. I think that somewhere along the line, she may have been treated for green ear and that is what caused it. It was difficult to paint her lips as they were quite scratched, but she cleaned up well!!

She has a slight nip to her upper lip. You can see it slightly in both pics. Made it difficult to paint as the "raw" vinyl wants to soak up the paint. Her black lash paint was also peeling, and you can see that in the after pic. I did not remove it as it was original to her.

This doll is in my collection. I forgot to take before pictures. She has a new hair set, completely new lips, new lash ridges and blush.

What a great #6!!! This doll was not suffering too terribly bad, but now she is spectacular!

This was a Bubblecut! She had absolutely NO face paint what so ever. Now with a total face paint and rooted brunette hair she looks great! A fun different spin on a Pony Tail!

Repainted brows, lips, lashes, blush added, neck split repaired, hair washed retied and hard curl reset.

Before and After of a great transitional #4 / #5. Her poodle bangs were cut, but still soft small curls of mohair. I had to reroot them. Her body is a hollow Barbie only torso, but her legs are waxy and her arms are flexible .. clearly limbs of that of a #4. She has retouched lips, lashes, brows and new blush.

Scrubbed doll, washed and reset hair. Touched up lips, and lashes. Bit of blush added.

BEFORE and AFTER
This doll had already been re-rooted when she landed in my hands. After I removed the previous attempts at restoration, I noticed that there was something under her lip paint. It was small and square. As if someone tried to patch a hole in her mouth. I could not remove it and was forced to paint over it. Still, she makes a nice display doll.

BEFORE and AFTER
A lovely #5
New lips, lashes, brows and blush. Hair washed, retied pony tail and hard curl reset.

BEFORE and AFTER
Who knew that this bubble held such beauty?!
All traces of prior restoration work removed. Hair washed and reset. New lips, brows, and blush.

A great #6 was hiding there!
Hair washed, pony tail retied, hard curl reset. New lips, lashes and blush.

This poor #6 was a hot mess!
Reset hair, new lashes, brows, lips, blush and eye liner.

Probably one of the more challenging dolls I have ever had to restore. As you see, her neck was split into the hair line in the back with a good bit of missing plugs. After some serious TLC and a partial reroot, she makes a pretty good display doll!

An absolutely gorgeous #3. I left her brows untouched to give her that truly vintage appeal.

What a pretty #6 when all cleaned up!
